Autumn colour at Cliveden
Embrace the outdoors at Cliveden. With autumn leaves dropping from Cliveden's historic trees you'll begin to see stunning far-reaching views stretching out across the Berkshire countryside.
Embrace the outdoors
Throughout the season venture down into the dog-friendly woodlands where Cliveden’s rustling beech trees radiate with bronze and golden tones. As the delicate leaves float gently to the floor, unbroken views down the infamous Thames Valley stretch are revealed.
There are three walking routes to choose from (red, blue and green) which are signed posted around the woods and are available as downloadable walks complete with route maps.
Peek behind-the-scenes on an exclusive tour around Cliveden house
‘Cliveden House has always been a hotel’, as famously quipped by Harold Macmillan. So when the National Trust sold the lease to Iconic Luxury Hotels in 2012, not much changed. Guests still come and go, lavish dinners are enjoyed and unforgettable memories are made. And now, for a limited time only, it’s your chance to peek inside this iconic mansion house.
On multiple dates in November, come along for an exclusive guided tour of Cliveden House. Along the way you’ll hear of the secrets and scandals which afflicted the estate throughout Cliveden’s 350 year history. After the tour, enjoy a two-course lunch served in the National Trust Orangery café.
The tour costs £35, which includes admission to the estate and lunch. Limited places remain. Booking is essential, call 0344 2491895.
