Purple walk

Walking trail

This walk involves a short scramble up through rock clefts, traversing the Gun Walk and a descent back down to the carriage drive after seeing towering fir trees; their roots clinging to the exposed crags

The purple waymarks will take you up into the quiet woodland area and back down towards the carriage drive. As the path moves downwards, follow the steps until you reach the carriage drive. Turn right at the road and walk a short way back to Dunkirk car park
