Botallack Count House Workshop has recently been refurbished as part of the Tin Coast. This historic building was once stables for the mine horses, a workshop for the mine's carpenter and then a classroom for Penzance School of Mines.
A perfect stop on a long walk, you can now pick up light refreshments including hot and cold drinks, cream teas and cake. Whilst there, find out more about how Cornish mining changed the world as well as how the area's real story inspired Winston Graham's Poldark.
Botallack car park is situated next to the workshop, with disabled access and toilets available in the workshop.
