Trust10 trail runs

Visitors running at Kingston Lacy, Dorset

Fancy a morning run through the clifftop gardens of a 1920s villa? Or how about testing your fitness in the grounds of a medieval castle? Our free monthly 10k trail runs are a great way to blow away the cobwebs, get some exercise and take in spectacular scenery.

Whether you’re training for a challenge or looking for a sociable jog in the fresh air, join us on the fourth Sunday of every month with an 8.30am registration and a 9am start. National Trust running and Trust10 are all about the experience you have running around our places rather than a time. So if timing is important to you bring your own timing device.

Coronavirus update: Unfortunately, we've had to temporarily cancel Trust10 trail runs due to the challenges of the coronavirus crisis but keep checking back to see when they start back up again.

Latest visiting update

Our gardens, parks, cafés, shops and countryside locations are open. Many houses are also open to visit. Advance booking for visits helps us keep everyone safe and socially distanced. At quieter times such as weekdays, booking shouldn't be necessary, but to guarantee entry we recommend booking in advance, especially at weekends and bank holidays. Please check the property webpage before you visit and follow government guidance.
