Come celebrate Mexican Day of the Dead with us

It’s Hallowe'en season and at the Giant’s Causeway we will be exploring how other cultures remember loved ones who have passed with our Mexican Day of the Dead.

This family-friendly event will feature face-painting, tissue-paper craft and a sugar skull trail down to the stones.

Mexican Day of the Dead is a holiday celebrated throughout Mexico and by people of Mexican ancestry living in other places, especially the United States. It is acknowledged internationally in many other cultures.

The multi-day holiday focuses on gatherings of family and friends to celebrate and remember friends and family members who have died.

True to traditional celebrations, our Day of the Dead weekend will feature food, flowers, music and sugar skulls.

Our café will be serving tasty treats with a Mexican twist and we will also have Latin music being played live in the Visitor Centre.

There will be something for everyone to enjoy, all at no extra cost.

Normal admission applies, free of charge for members.
