Greenway garden winter ramble
A one mile walk around Greenway garden is a great way to discover the winter highlights and the best viewpoints over the River Dart. Greenway is open on Saturdays and Sundays in November and December, 11am-4pm.

Galmpton to Greenway walk via Mill Lane
The walk to Greenway from Galmpton via Mill Lane takes in great views over the River Dart, and even goes along a beach foreshore. When the tide is in you may need to take off your socks and shoes to wade through the river for a short while, but when the tide is out it's a more straightforward walk.

A moderate 2.5 mile walk from Galmpton via Coombe Lane is perfect for walkers, cyclists and horse riders alike.

Galmpton to Greenway walk via Hook Bottom Lane
This walk from Galmpton to Greenway follows a permissive bridleway along quiet country lanes and through woodland, and is good for walkers, horse riders and cyclists alike.

Greenway Boathouse walk
Greenway garden drifts down the hillside to the edge of the River Dart, and this circular walking route takes you along the riverside. With stop-offs at viewpoints, the Boathouse quay and the Battery, it's a moderate walk with lots of opportunities for relaxation.

Bring your dog to Greenway
Dogs are welcome at Greenway; Agatha Christie and her family were big dog lovers, and so are the staff and volunteers now. Please keep your dogs on a short lead when in the grounds at Greenway, and dispose of any waste in the bins provided.

Walks in the English Riviera
This year we created a new walking programme around the English Riviera, to provide opportunities for fresh air and the chance to relax in the outdoors, but we've sadly taken the decision to close our parks and gardens, in addition to our houses, shops and cafés, to help restrict the spread of coronavirus.

Greenway's spring walk
Greenway garden is at it's very best in spring, filled with flowering camellias, rhododendrons, magnolias and bulbs. This walk takes in some of the best places in the garden to see the spring flowers.
