Come along to the Greenway fête 

On Saturday 15 September, 11am-4pm, a 1950s style fête inspired by Agatha Christie's 'Dead Man's Folly' will be taking place in the Walled Garden, complete with coconut shy, fortune teller, fun dog show, games and more.

A second-hand book shop is now open on the ground floor of the café, with all of the money raised through second-hand book sales going to the conservation of Greenway. Can you help to look after Greenway for ever by donating a book or two?

Greenway is a ‘Camellia Garden of Excellence’ 

Greenway has been accredited the International Camellia Society’s ‘Camellia Garden of Excellence.’ This honour reflects the extent and quality of the camellia collection in Greenway garden. It is the first time a National Trust garden has been given this accreditation.

Agatha Christie was known locally by her married name, Mrs Mallowan, and her time spent at her holiday home, Greenway, was all about quality time with the family, away from the public eye.

In the Library you can’t miss Greenway’s unexpected treasure; a frieze painted during World War Two by Lt Marshall Lee, a member of the US.. Coast Guard stationed at the house in the run up to the D Day landings.
