Family festive fun at Hinton Ampner
This article was about Christmas at Hinton Ampner in 2017. We’ll be updating this with 2018 information later in the year. Join the Brothers Grimm Advent trail to follow fairy tales around the grounds. Look out for our naughty fancy dress mice in the house this Christmas.
Brothers Grimm Advent Trail
Saturday 2 - Sunday 31 December, 10am - 3.30pm, £1 suggested donation with normal admission prices applicable
The fairy tale magic will sweep through the house and grounds, with a Brothers Grimm-themed Advent calendar trail for all the family to take part in. Find out what's in each box and guess the fairy tale to complete the challenge.
Don't forget that around the rooms are Hinton Ampner’s popular miniature mice, sporting costumes linked to our Grimms fairy tales. How many can you spot?
Hinton’s pop-up shop makes a welcome return to the courtyard. Its shelves are laden with traditional old-fashioned sweets to tickle your tastebuds.
