Stay in the grounds of 700-year-old Chirk Castle in this pretty stone cottage. It sits just a few hundred metres from the castle in its own enclosed garden. Inside reveals a bright and airy interior with room for four people and two dogs.

Beyond the boundary walls, walking trails will lead you through the Ceirog Valley and the remarkable 8th century defensive earthwork, Offa’s Dyke.
