A Blickling estate cottage with an inviting interior and miles of walking trails on the doorstep.
4 Park Gates is a large, spacious holiday home created from two former estate workers' cottages. Located at the heart of the Blickling Estate, the cottage benefits from a large enclosed private garden and two open fires.
With magnificent walking trails on your doorstep, wake up early and get out into the estate. Just down the road from the cottage is a traditional pub, the perfect place to while away a lazy Sunday afternoon.
Just three miles from the cottage is the pretty Georgian market town of Aylsham. The market place, which we care for, hosts two weekly markets, monthly farmer’s markets and a host of community events throughout the year.

First floor layout
Three double bedrooms (two with 5' bed, and one with 4'6" bed) and one twin. Two bathrooms (one with shower over bath and one with mixer tap attachment).

Heating: Provided by an air source heat pump system in conjunction with radiators. This system has been installed as part of our renewable energy programme. More information will be in your booking confirmation and the Welcome Folder at 4 Park Gates.
Parking: There is ample parking for four cars within the enclosed garden.
Garden: The cottage is close to the gates to Blickling Park which is popular with walkers, however, the large lawned garden is hedged along this side to provide privacy, the seating area is on the opposite side of the cottage.
WiFi: We’re pleased to provide free WiFi access at this accommodation, which is supported by BT. Please note intermittent connection problems can sometimes occur and therefore should not be relied upon.
Local events: In July and August there may be open air concerts held on Blickling park beside the lake, this will result in heavy traffic through the village from about 6pm to 11pm (concert dates will be promoted on the Blickling Hall website).
Park Runs takes place on most Saturday’s throughout the year, participants will go past the cottage to gain access to the start of the run.
On August Bank Holiday Monday, Aylsham agricultural show is also held on the park and the local area will be busy all day/evening and possibly over the weekend before for preparation.
Storage: Cycle storage provided.
Offers: Guests will benefit from a late Sunday checkout of 4pm at this cottage.
