Sitting next to grassy meadows and bluebell woods with its own private stretch of riverbank, is this semi-detached, two-bedroom cottage. Meadowside is located in the tiny Norfolk hamlet of Itteringham and is surrounded by undisturbed countryside. Inside reveals a traditional interior with an open fire warming the lounge.
The hedged garden will lead you straight to the banks of the River Bure, giving you miles of riverside walks to explore. As a guest you’re invited to explore Blickling Hall, its walled garden and sweeping parklands free of charge. It’s just a 30-minute walk from the cottage.
The sandy beaches and cliff top paths of the Norfolk coast are within a 20 minute drive. Blakeney Point Nature Reserve is 20 miles away. The four-mile spit offers the unique opportunity to spot rare wildlife, such as grey seals and tern colonies.

Heating: Provided by an air source heat pump system in conjunction with radiators. This system has been installed as part of our renewable energy programme. More information will be in your booking confirmation and the Welcome Folder on arrival.
Parking: There is parking available for two cars.
*WiFi: This is now available, but please note that intermittent connection problems can sometimes occur and should not be relied upon. We are pleased to provide free WiFi at this cottage which is supported by BT.
Garden: The garden is hedged for privacy and the river Bure runs along the bottom of the rear garden which is accessed through a gate from the main garden. However, the river is not fenced so children will need to be supervised.
Access: The doorway between the kitchen and sitting room is fairly low and the staircase is quite narrow and steep.
Storage: Cycle storage provided.
Offers: Guests will benefit from a late Sunday checkout of 12pm at this cottage
