Visit Ightham Mote with your group
Ightham Mote (pronounced 'item moat') near Sevenoaks in Kent offers a great day out for groups. With plenty of rooms to explore, a garden and a surrounding estate, we'll ensure you all have an enjoyable visit.
The medieval moated manor house of Ightham Mote is nestled in a secluded valley in the rural Weald of Kent. Set within peaceful gardens with an orchard, water features, lakes and woodland walks, the house has seen many changes through its 700-year history, but remains untouched by time. Everyone who has lived here has left their mark - whether a medieval knight, courtier to Henry VIII or high society Victorian - each has added to its' charm. This is why, when you visit, you will see its a building of odd nooks and ancient stonework.
