Enter Killerton on the night before Christmas and see the Georgian mansion with decorations inspired by Clement Clarke Moore's popular festive poem, 'Twas the night before Christmas'. While wandering though the house don't forget to stop in the dressing up room and put on your favourite Christmas outfit.
Outside continue the story following the twinkling trail through the garden and parkland.
Replenishing energy levels
For grumbling tummies, the Killerton Kitchen and the Stables coffeeshop are perfect places to refuel. To beat the chill, the Dairy Café will be open for hot drinks and snacks.
Winter highlights at Killerton
Enjoy exploring off the beaten track to come across secret paths, the Bear's hut and the ice house. See some beautiful vistas open up as the leaves fall from the trees over the winter season.
Entry to the house at Christmas is through bookable timed tickets.
Normal admission fees apply, National Trust members are free but still need to book. Non-members can pay on the day or join the National Trust at Killerton.
