The value of gifts in wills

With heartfelt thanks to Laurie Marshall, who left a generous gift in his will to support conservation at Killerton. Laurie's gift made our roof repair possible. Legacies, no matter how big or small, are vital to help us look after special places we all love.

Without gifts in wills, the National Trust would face an uncertain future as a charity. They're that important. Thanks to a very generous gift in will left to Killerton by volunteer Mr Laurie Marshall, we we able to start last year's project.

Why leave a gift

Without gifts in wills, we would face an uncertain future as a charity. Find out how you can help by remembering us in your will.

" We were able to start the roof project thanks to a generous legacy from Laurie Marshall who volunteered with us for over 20 years. As a conservation charity, we rely on donations and legacies alongside memberships and visitor income. Killerton is such a special place to so many and this support will mean we can continue vital conservation to keep it that way."
