Autumn highlights at Lanhydrock
Just some of what's in store this autumn.
Take a walk or cycle through the incredible landscape of orange and gold this autumn. Jump in crunchy leaves, discover shiny conkers and enjoy invigorating fresh air with all the family.
Discover the garden
If you'd like to find out more about Lanhydrock's beautiful listed garden, then come along to one of our free garden tours. Friendly volunteer guides will show you around the formal garden on most weekdays, sharing their knowledge and answering your questions. Call 01208 265950 in advance to see if walks are taking place on the day of your visit.
Explore the estate
Can you find a conker on a Horse Chestnut Tree? Or can you find the leaves that have turned the brightest red? Explore the estate this autumn and see the changing seasons in action.
Walking on the estate
Join one of our weekly guided walks and discover areas of the estate you may not have been before. Taking place each Thursday until 31 October, meet outside reception at 2pm. Everyone is welcome, including dogs.
Whether you're new to cycling or an experienced cyclist, we've got a range of trails to suit all abilities. We also have a cycle hire hub so if you don't have a bike (or can't bring it with you) you can hire a bike for a day.
50 things fun
We've made a list of 50 fun things you can do outdoors that we think everyone should try before they're 11 ¾. Find out about all 50 or try one of our top ten next time you're here.
Tasty treats at the Park Cafe
After a day exploring, reward yourself with a tasty treat from the Park Café or take a little bit of Lanhydrock home with a purchase from the shop. Gift shop open every day until 5.30pm and Café open every day 9.30am – 5pm.
