Walking in Oxfordshire, Buckinghamshire and Berkshire

Winter walks are somehow extra exhilarating if they're by water. Maybe it's the sparkling reflections in muted winter landscapes, or the reassuring sense of water always moving whilst gardens and landscapes sleep. There are some lovely winter walks along the river Thames at Cliveden and at Maidenhead and Cookham Commons and strolls by the lakes at Stowe are always a treat. From gentle wanders through meadows to longer jaunts across the rolling Chiltern hills, there are lots of walks in Oxfordshire, Buckinghamshire and Berkshire for the whole family to enjoy.
