Learning opportunities at Lyme

Deb building fun at Lyme, Cheshire

Whether it’s learning through play, or bringing lessons to life in the real world, there is something for every learner at Lyme. With our astounding outdoor landscapes to explore, and a beautiful house ready to take you back in time, there is a wide range of opportunities to choose from. We have a fantastic team ready to take you and your learners on a great adventure...come join us!

Inspiring and memorable, Lyme offers an exciting range of indoor and outdoor learning experiences for your nursery, school, college or group. You can do it yourself or use our team to deliver a wide range of sessions to suit your leaners.

Outdoors we have activities such as den building, mini-beasts, wild art, flora hunts, orienteering and map skills all of which can be adapted for different ages.

Indoors we have sessions focussed on a range of topics such as toys through the ages, Ancient Greece, local history, upstairs/ downstairs and a Regency Christmas.

If you have a particular topic or curriculum link in mind please get in touch and we will do our best to tailor your visit.

Come and explore independently, you could do your own orienteering or nature walk, explore the House and Gardens, or simply play in Crow Wood - it’s up to you! All we ask is that you let us know when you are coming. Vehicle admission charges and Boiler House hire fee apply (discounts for Education Group Members).
