Easter egg hunts at Lyme

Family enjoying the garden in spring

Join us for an Easter adventure in nature at Lyme. Pre-booked ticket holders can purchase a family-friendly trail on the day with fun activities to do along the way. Complete the trail and earn your chocolate reward at the end.

We know how much joy our Easter egg trails bring to our visitors each year and we hope this year will be no different. However, we ask that you help us to stay open safely by booking your tickets in advance.

Easter adventures in nature

29 March to 11 April (whilst stocks last), 10.30am-4pm (last entry at 3.30pm)

Uncover the sights and sounds of spring as everything at Lyme begins to burst into life. Explore the garden to find the cosy homes where Lyme’s wildlife has been sleeping through the winter and see the first spring flowers peek out of the ground. Complete all the activities and earn your chocolate prize this Easter.

Easter trail packs will cost £3. Each pack contains an activity sheet and a pencil. Follow the trail around the garden, completing activities along the way. Once you’ve finished the trail you can collect your chocolate egg (an alternative allergen free reward will also be available).

Before visiting, please check local and national government guidance on travelling.

Book your visit

You don’t need to book your Easter trails, but you will need to book your Easter visit. To manage visitor numbers so that social distancing can be ensured for the safety of our staff, volunteers and visitors, the pre-booking system still applies. Booking will provide access to the property, not the Easter adventures in nature trail, which can be purchased on the day. Only visitors with booking will be able to purchase an Easter trail.

Tickets are released every Friday, so you won't be able to book your Easter visit until Friday 26 March.

Please book ahead before visiting

The car park, parkland and garden at Lyme are open. To avoid disappointment please book in advance, especially at busier times such as weekends, school holidays and bank holidays.
