Surprise souvenirs February half term trail at Polesden Lacey

A cartoon spider sewing by candlelight

Polesden Lacey's February half term trail runs from 10 - 18 February 2018.

Secret servants

The secret servants at Polesden Lacey don’t feel appreciated.

The chefs never thank Rodney the rat when he taste tests the cheese – they just complain that he’s left teeth marks in it. Sylvia the spider spends all night creating beautiful shawls for Maggie, but the maids dust them away every morning.

Something in the post

So the secret servants are thrilled when Maggie sends them souvenirs from her exciting travels around Asia. They finally feel that Maggie knows how hard they work.

Follow the trail around the grounds to find out what gifts the secret servants have received – maybe a bonsai tree from Japan or tea from Ceylon or even some beautiful jade jewellery from China.

Our half term trail runs from Saturday 10 – Sunday 18 February. There is no charge for this trail, but a suggested donation of £1 per child would be appreciated.
