Feel festive this Christmas

Join us at Shugborough for a magical month of festive treats with carols and lantern parades.

Come and enjoy at this special time of year, with the entire estate showing off its seasonal best inside and out. Join our lantern parades and carol services, and wonder at our Mansion decorations. Why not finish your visit with a trip to our tea-rooms for some festive treats, and enjoy some late minute shopping?

Lantern Workshops
Join us on selected weekends in November and December and make your very own lantern. With your workshop and parade ticket, you will be able to work with an artistic guide and be provided with the materials to create your own masterpiece. Then, either take home your creation, or leave it in our care for your return to join us on a glorious lantern parade on either the 15, 16 or 17 December. The parade will take you around the estate, telling the tale of the Anson brothers who created Shugborough, the ‘Perfect Paradise’. You will be able to take your lantern home with you to show all of your friends.

You will be able to book onto your parade at the end of your workshop.
