Orchard Day at Smallhythe Place

Smallhythe Place in late summer

Explore our garden, traditional orchard and nuttery. Sample produce from the property, and peruse the local stallholders.

Join us on Saturday 15th September, 11am-4pm as we celebrate the harvest and Kent's local offering in the late summer gardens of Smallhythe Place. From fresh produce straight from our trees, to plants, tasty treats and garden gifts, enjoy a day out with a difference with all the family.

Stroll through the apple laden trees of our traditional orchard and pick you own, play a game of croquet on the old tennis court lawn or wander through the nuttery and wildflower meadows as you explore the garden.

With a variety of activities, stalls and historic talks and tours there is something for everyone to get involved in. Why not get out and about this autumn, bring the family together and join us as we celebrate another year’s harvest in Kent.

This event took place in September 2018 and is now finished.
