Festive Fridays at Speke Hall

Victorian Christmas tree trimming at Speke Hall

We're extending the Christmas celebrations at Speke Hall and opening on Fridays for a tranquil festive experience. Join us on Friday 24 November or 1 or 8 December for a more relaxed atmosphere and a chance to soak up a traditional Victorian Christmas.

The Hall will be decorated for a traditional Victorian Christmas with garlands handmade by our fantastic team of volunteers. They'll be on hand to demonstrate their techniques in the Dairy on some of the Festive Fridays, so pop in on your way around the house and see if they're there for a chat.

Listen to festive music as you wander around the rooms, discover festive traditions from years gone by or simply take a seat in the atmospheric Great Hall and enjoy the magic of this time of year.

Down at Home Farm, the restaurant will be open with a great range of food, no matter what time you join us. From breakfast barms to mid-morning tea and mince pies, Christmas dinners and mid-afternoon hot scones: the food is always delicious!

Pick up a perfect present for a pal or a tempting treat for yourself (you deserve it!) from the shop.

As this is a quieter version of our Victorian Christmas festivities, some elements of the usual event such as the Grotto and storytelling will not be taking place on Fridays. If you're bringing the family and want lots of activities to entertain your little ones, please join us at the weekends instead!
