Summer family fun

We're looking forward to a summer of fun at Speke Hall with a great series of family events and activities for you to join in with.

The next chapter of Enchanted Speke unfolds and this summer holidays the theme will be A Midsummer Night’s Dream. A magical spell will be cast over the grounds and hall and a world of forest fairies and woodland creatures awaits young explorers this summer. Keep an eye on our social media channels for some exciting sneaky peeks at what we’ve got in store…

There’s also a whole summer of sport planned, with different things for you to try every Monday, Friday and Sunday. Challenge friends and family to a shoot out on the Archery Arrows range or practice tennis, volleyball or badminton! Check our timetable (available shortly) for specific details on what's on and have a go at something new every time you visit.

Don’t forget to join us from 18-20 August for Game On – a community sports festival where you can have a go at a huge range of exciting sports. Master the climbing wall, try your hand at fencing, practice your golf swing or solve the orienteering trail, as well as many more amazing outdoor activities.  Pre-book your tickets here or pay on the day. It’s just £5 per person for a Game On wristband that gives access to the whole range of sports.

The Hall will also be open by free flow between 12.30 and 4.30pm for you to explore. Try out the Metal Mickey trail to learn some Tudor secrets and make sure you say hello to the Giant Childe of Hale in the Great Hall!

We've also got all our great outdoor features for you to explore. Will you solve the challenge of the maze or conquer the stepping stones and zip wire in the woodland? Find out more about the full range of things that families can try on a visit to Speke.

Don't forget, the Hall is closed on Mondays unless it's a Bank Holiday!
