Speke for Nature: Celebration of Mother Nature

Join us every day between 21 March - 19 April (except 10-13 April) to celebrate spring with plenty of family-friendly fun. Join Flora the bluebell and Fauna the bunny rabbit on a fantastic adventure around the grounds of Speke Hall. Take part in planting activities, creative crafts and lots more fun.

Cadbury Easter Egg Hunts

This year's Cadbury Easter Egg Hunts at Speke Hall are happening between 10-13 April, 10.30am-4pm. Explore the grounds and gardens in search of the hidden homes of our feathered, furry and flying friends to complete the trail and earn your chocolate reward! It's £2.50 per child to take part on the day (normal admission prices apply, free entry for National Trust members and under 5s).

Explore the outdoors 

There's so much to enjoy with your family in the grounds of Speke Hall. Once you've completed your Cadbury Easter Egg Hunts, why not start a new adventure across the grounds to discover our maze, two play areas and the Giant Childe of Hale play trail.

Step inside the house 

The house is open Wednesday-Sunday between 12.30-5pm for you to explore. Try and solve the fun trail and make sure you say hello to the Giant Childe of Hale in the Great Hall. Look out for the eavesdropper and priest hole too!

Food and drink 

While our restaurant is takeaway-only in line with government guidelines, you can still pick up cold or hot snacks, cakes and drinks to-go. Please note we can only accept card payment and the restaurant closes at 3.30pm. If you'd rather bring a packed lunch, you'll find picnic tables in the orchard and benches on the South Lawn, North Lawn and the Bund path.
