The Stackpole Trailathlon returns with new routes for 2019! Run, make a splash and get muddy with an adrenaline-fuelled day of sporting activity on the Stackpole Estate.

When is the Stackpole Trailathlon?

The Stackpole Trailathlon takes place on Sunday 13 October at 10am, starting from Stackpole Centre. 

What is involved?

Enjoy new routes for 2019! Sponsored by Pembrokeshire Coffee Company, our event is all about enjoying the best of the landscape, with participants taking on a trail run, a woodland obstacle course and a splash along the water's edge.

The run – choose from 1.5 miles, 3.2 miles and 5.2 miles – covers coast and countryside terrain, starting from Stackpole Centre, around Bosherston Lakes and down to Broad Haven South beach. Along the way, our woodland obstacle course offers a muddy challenge!

Who can take part?

Everyone, that’s the best bit! The Stackpole Trailathlon is open to all ages and abilities, take part as a family, group or individual… just have fun.

How much is it and how do I sign up?

Early bird adult (until 31 July) – £15
Standard adult (from 1 August) – £18
Child – £5

An adult ticket includes entry, a Stackpole Trailathlon t-shirt, hot drink, a flapjack and a coffee sample from our sponsors at Pembrokeshire Coffee Company. A child ticket includes entry, a Stackpole Trailathlon t-shirt, a drink and a flapjack.

Booking is essential for the Stackpole Trailathlon – you can book online or by calling the team on 01646 623110. We recommend booking early as our previous events have been completely sold out!

Where does my entry fee go?

By taking part in the Stackpole Trailathlon, you’re helping us to support vital conservation work on the Stackpole Estate. Thank you.

Essential information for the day

On the day meet at Stackpole Centre (SA71 5DQ) for 9am registration. If you’ve booked online, please bring your e-ticket with you. If you’ve pre-booked over the phone or face-to-face, you’ll need to confirm your booking name with our team on the day.

Limited parking will be available at Stackpole Centre, car sharing is advisable. Overflow parking will be available at Bosherston and Stackpole Cricket Club’s playing field, a £1 donation to the club is welcome.

Alternatively, you are very welcome to drop people off at the Centre and then park at one of our other National Trust car parks on the Stackpole Estate.

The Stackpole Trailathlon will begin at 10am and is due to finish by 12.30pm. Following the event, there will be hot breakfast rolls available to buy at Stackpole Centre.

Don’t forget to wear trainers and comfortable clothing, and bring a reusable bottle of water (which can be filled at the centre), towel and a change of clothes!
