Pick up a trail from the Guardhouse and start your adventure in the Great Tower. On your way there, don't forget to take a look around all the nooks and crannies and if you're quiet, who knows what you'll see up close. Perhaps you'll be lucky enough to seebaby rabbits or our protected species of newts.
Around our rare red brick castle you can discover exceptional wildlife around the castle grounds, including in both the inner and the outer moats.
Get active by ticking off some of 50 things to do before you’re 11 ¾ . Come see what you can build with the soft shapes in the Inner Ward or playin the giant sandpit (just behind the Great Tower) –buckets and spades provided.
Are you an adventurer, discoverer, ranger, tracker or explorer? Come bird watching and investigate what’s in and around our moat.
You can take a break and rest while enjoying the sunshine. Lounge on a deckchair an take in the breathtaking views whilst listening to birds songs. Bring along a picnic and make use of our benches, or find a shady spot anywhere in our grounds.n You may even be lucky enough to see RAF Coningsby planes flying just above the Tower during your visit.
