2

Head down the bridleway and past a farm on your left. The track will now get quite steep and is a test of stamina to get to the top without stopping! Eventually the track levels off and you will enjoy some fine views of the surrounding countryside.

3

The track continues on and through a small copse to the edge of a field. Turn left and continue a short distance until you reach a gap in the hedgerow.

4

Keeping to the right hand side of the hedgerow, follow the trail along the edge of the field, through another hedge gap until you reach a right hand turn.

5

You now head quite steeply downhill (a good chance to get up some speed) and the track comes to a stop at a farm track, opposite a house.

6

Turn left down the farm track and continue until you see a right hand turn indicated on your right.

7

Following this track along the edge of another field will eventually take you into Cobb’s Wood. You will be directed to turn right and follow the bridleway as it winds its way through the wood and back to the junction opposite Wimpole's main entrance.
