Explore Attingham this Easter
During our 'Grow Your Green Roots' year, join us for what we're calling the BEaster holidays at Attingham and discover more about the insects and minibeasts that live on the estate (Saturday 13 to Sunday 28 April).
Explore the grounds and find out more about the creepy crawlies that live here on a Cadbury Easter Egg Hunt, meet Mary one of our Rangers and hunt for minibeasts, or make your own willow bug with the Wild Craftist.
Cadbury Easter Egg Hunts: Saturday 13 and Sunday 14 April, and Friday 19 to Monday 22 April, 10am - 4pm.
Enjoy the Attingham woods as they spring into life after the cold winter, follow our Cadbury Easter Egg Hunt trail to find out about our native creepy crawlies, complete the bug-y challenges and receive a chocolatey prize at the end.
Visit on Saturday 13 or Sunday 14 April for early Easter fun, or join in with the hunt on the main Easter weekend from Friday 19 to Monday 22 April.
£2.50 per trail, includes a chocolate prize, while stocks last.
BEaster Bug Making with the Wild Craftist: Tuesday 16 and Thursday 25 April, 10am - 2pm.
Make your way into the Stables Courtyard where Ben, the Wild Craftist will be running drop in sessions from 10am till 2pm to guide you through making a simple willow bug based on some of those that you might find here at Attingham to help celebrate BEaster and Grow Your Green Roots.
£3 per willow insect.
BEaster Bug Hunt: Thursday 18 and and Friday 26 April, 10am-11.30am.
Hopefully, with a late Easter and some sunshine many minibeasts will have come out to play. Have a go at exploring an area of the site which is known for its minibeast life and try to identify your findings. Mary, one of our Rangers will be on hand to set you up and get you on your way.
Small donation suggested.
