Discover the magic of the great outdoors this spring, as Belton reawakens for Easter. Enjoy a day out with lots of family activities running from Thursday 29 March through to Sunday 15 April 2017.

The outdoor adventure playground's 40th birthday party

Blue Peter’s, Peter Purves officially opened Belton’s outdoor adventure playground in 1978, and he’ll be returning this Easter to celebrate its 40th birthday party. Join us for a full day of play with puppet shows, archery, children’s outdoor theatre, bushcraft activities, face-painting and more.

Cadbury Easter egg hunt

Enjoy Easter fun at Belton House and join the Cadbury Easter Egg Hunt between Friday 30 March and Monday 2 April. £3 per trail.

Belton’s nature challenge

Make the most of the holidays and discover the delights of trees in the parkland as part of Belton’s Nature Challenge between Tuesday 3 and Thursday 12 April. £2 per trail.

Family house tour

Discover the untold stories of Belton House with our interactive tour. It’s been specially designed for families with children aged five years and over in mind. This special tour will run on Thursday 5 and 12 April.*

Friday #50things challenges

Join us on Friday 6 April to make a trail with sticks. Mark a path through the woods and challenge your family to follow it. Return on Friday 13 April to plant it, grow it, eat it.

Talking pictures: War and pieces edition

Discover the stories behind the War and Pieces exhibition at Belton this spring. This interactive, 20-minute workshop will run on Friday 6 and 13 April. Suitable for visitors aged six years and older.*

Discovery Centre

Open every day of the school holidays. Come along to discover more about the nature and history of Belton House with activities and crafts for all the family to enjoy.

Belton International Horse Trials

Belton International Horse Trials is a 3-day equestrian event that takes place in Belton's parkland each spring. The event is managed by Bede Ltd and runs independently of the National Trust, so for full event details, please refer to the Belton International Horse Trials website. Friday 13 – Sunday 15 April.

Spring bulb planting

Join the garden team and on Sunday 22 April between 2pm and 4pm to ‘have a go’ bulb planting. Help add to Belton’s annual spring flower display.
