Easter egg hunts at Brownsea Island

Easter Egg Hunt through daffodils

Join us for an Easter adventure in nature on Brownsea Island. Discover our family-friendly trail with fun activities for you to do along the way. Complete the trail and earn your chocolate reward at the end.

We know how much joy our Easter egg trails bring to visitors each year and we hope this year will be the same. However, we ask that you support your local property and book your tickets in advance.

Easter adventures in nature trail

As spring 2021 kicks into action on Brownsea and with all the beauty it brings, we'll be offering a nature-based trail for the Easter holidays. Discover the wonders of the wild on the island with our Easter adventures in nature trail. Use your senses to look and listen to the signs of the island as spring awakens. Meet our trees and get active in the outdoors through a series of fun challenges. Are you ready to shake like a squirrel?  .

What you need to know:

  • The trail costs £3 per pack, which includes a bag with activity sheet and pencil and a National Trust chocolate egg reward, sustainably sourced using Rainforest Alliance cocoa. Allergen-free reward also available.
  • The Easter adventures in nature trail runs from Monday12 April-Sunday 18 April.
  • There's no need to book your trail in advance but you must pre-book your visit to the island.

Book your visit

To manage visitor numbers so that social distancing can be ensured for the duration of your visit, including the journey to and from the island, the pre-booking system still applies. This is to ensure the safety of our staff, volunteers and visitors. We will be managing arrival and departure times as part of the visiting package.

Booking will provide access to the property, not the Easter adventures in nature trail, which can be purchased on the day. Tickets are released every Friday, so you won't be able to book your Easter visit until 9 April.

Before visiting, please check local and national government guidance on travelling.
