Bookshop Cafe at Clumber Park
Open from 11am- 4pm daily Our second hand bookshop café is the perfect place to grab a bargain book and enjoy a coffee, sweat treat or light lunch away from the hustle and bustle of the main café.
The entrance to our secondhand bookshop is under the archway of the Clock tower part of the Lincoln Stables.
Once part of the stables in the early 1900’s the room was allocated to the House servants and grooms to set up a men’s billiards club. Annual membership was two shillings and six pence.
If you've never been inside a National Trust bookshop you'll be in for a surprise, each one is different and the one here at Clumber Park is no exception - a quiet haven during the week to browse the books while enjoying a cup of tea and slice of cake.
Our second hand bookshop at Clumber Park receives books donated by supporters on a daily basis. These include everything from the latest bestsellers too hard to find and even antiquarian editions. Whether you are a casual reader or looking for something unusual, our bookshop is sure to offer up some interesting reads.
What's more the selection changes all of the time so you'll never know what may turn up. We sold nearly 20,000 books last year and all the money raised by the sale of the donated books goes towards important conservation work here at Clumber Park so why not pop in next time you visit and enjoy a cup of tea and a slice of cake whilst you browse the books at your leisure.
