Relax on the former mansion site or in front of the chapel. You’ll be in easy reach of the main visitor facilities, the woodland play park and close by to the lakeside.

Heavy hampers…

If you don’t want to walk far, head to the Pleasure Grounds - only a short walk from the main car park, but you still get to enjoy the beautiful lakeside views and stunning scenery.

Peace and quiet…

There's plenty of idyllic spots where you can enjoy the peace and quiet and natural beauty of Clumber Park. Take a walk around the lake to find a quieter place.

Football, rounders and cricket…

Make your way to the front field, located adjacent to the main visitor facilities, where there's plenty of open space to make goal posts with jumpers, spread out your picnic rug and while away the afternoon. Over the summer holidays we don't forget to join in our free Summer of Sport activities.

If you don’t fancy making your own picnic, our café and Garden Tea House have a range of home-made takeaway options. So you can pick up a sandwich or salad and search out the sunshine – or just supplement your homemade hamper with a freshly made coffee or ice-cream.
