There’s festive fun for everyone at the Dinefwr Christmas Fair from Friday, 22 to Sunday, 24 November, 2019.
A mansion and courtyard filled with tasty treats and unique gift ideas for all the family. Get into the festive spirit as you browse the quality stalls from independent artists and craft makers.
Allow carol singers, choirs and brass bands to provide the soundtrack to your day as you sip on a luxury hot chocolate or a glass of mulled wine against the backdrop of Dinefwr Park in all its winter glory.
- Children can visit Father Christmas in his grotto on Saturday and Sunday.
- Normal admission charges apply, National Trust members free. Fast track tickets are available online.
- A free park and ride service will be available from Home Farm throughout the 3 days which will take you to the entrance of the fair.

What to expect
Two floors of Newton House will be dedicated to handmade crafts and gift ideas that have been lovingly made by our local suppliers.
There'll be lots of festive hustle and bustle in the inner courtyard with the buildings packed with tasty treats to buy and a feast of hot food stalls to fill your belly.
Choirs and bands will perform in the entertainment marquee. *Please note that due to the charity's budgetary restraints there will be no free refreshments at this year's event. The money saved will go towards National Trust conservation work at Dinefwr.
Father Christmas

The big man himself will arrive and open the Dinefwr Christmas Fair on Saturday and Sunday at 10am. After that, he'll head down to his magical grotto in the basement of Newton House where he'll await all of the excited children and adults. You will be given a time slot on a first-come first-serve basis. Each child will recieve a gift from Farther Christmas and all our family activities are free.
Mae Sion Corn yn siarad cymreag hefyd!
Families with prams and buggies
The Dinefwr Christmas Fair is our busiest time of the year. Whilst we will assess the event environment throughout the day, for the safty of your child and others we must implement a "no buggy" policy inside Newton House during busy periods. An under cover buggy park is provided outside Newton House.
Quieter times to visit
This year the Dinefwr Christmas Fair will run for 3 days from Friday, 22 November to Sunday, 24 November. We recommend Friday as a quieter time to visit though please be aware that Father Christmas will only be in attendance on Saturday and Sunday.
To enjoy all the fun of the fair, including festive entertainment and a visit to Santa's Grotto, you must come along on the Saturday or Sunday. To avoid the initial crowds we recommend you plan to visit us from 1pm onwards.
Parking
There is a free park and ride service at Home Farm. Disabled parking can be found at the Visitor Information Centre.
Normal admission applies.
