As a result of the scheduled conservation work in and around Newton House this month, we've made some changes to the normal visitor experience here at Dinefwr.

Here is a handy guide of what to expect from your visit this January. If you have any further questions or queries, please do get in touch with our Visitor Information Centre on 01558 824512. 

Will Newton House, Shop and Billiard Cafe be open in January?

Newton House, shop and Billiard Cafe are undergoing maintenance and conservation work from 7 – 31 January, 2019. They will open again as normal on 1 February, 2019.

Will the Dinefwr Parkland and Trails be open in January?

Yes. The parkland and parkland trails will be open as normal. Please check our website homepage for any changes.

Will there be refreshments available in January?

Yes. Though the Billiard Cafe is closed from 7-31 January, our friends at National Trust Gower will be lending us their catering van so that our visitors don’t have to go without a hot cuppa after a winter walk.

What will be the opening times in January?

The gates will open at 10am and close at 3pm from 1-31 January.

From the 7-31 January Newton House, Shop and Billiard Cafe will be closed. The Dinefwr Parkland will be open as normal.

What will be the price of admission for non-members?

Admission for January will be reduced to £4.25 Gift Aid and £3.80 Standard.

Admission is free for National Trust Members.
