On a warm summers afternoon watch this classic story bought to life by the Immersion Theatre Company. Follow Alice and the White Rabbit as they set off on a colourful, topsy-turvy adventure like no other and meet a host of outlandish characters including the troublesome twins, Tweedle Dum and Tweedle Dee, the notorious Queen of Hearts, the Cheshire cat and of course, the Mad as a bat Hatter! You'll be mad to miss it!
Thursday 29 August, 4pm-6pm. Tickets cost £12 for adults, £7 for children and with family tickets starting at £26.

What's that hiding among the trees? It's a tepee of course. Let your imagination run wild and try on the fancy dress clothes you'll find inside. The tepee is perfect for younger adventurers, though we won't blame the adults for wanting to join in the fun!

Have you tried out our swings yet? They're made especially for those explorers with shorter legs. Find these just past the wild play area and see how high you can get. Don't forget to bring an adult along to do the pushing.

Wild Play Area

Big explorers - get stuck into adventures in our wild play area, located past the old stables café. Can you walk across the balance beams without falling off? Why not challenge each other to see who can build the biggest den? Climb on the stepping logs and play in the camp - the fun is never ending. Little explorers are welcome to play too, though maybe bring an adult along to help with the fun.

Picnics at Emmetts Garden

Our meadow makes the perfect spot for a summer picnic with glorious views over Ide Hill. Bring a blanket and relax with delicious food under sunny skies. There’s post-picnic fun to be found with garden games in the discovery cabin, a tepee amongst the trees and adventures in the wild play area.

Family Facilities at Emmetts Garden

Baby changing facilities can be found at the entrance to the site, next to the visitor welcome centre as well as at the old stables café. Bottle warming facilities can also be found at the café. The meadow makes the perfect spot for a picnic; grab a table or bring a blanket. Please note that scooters are not suitable for the pathways at Emmetts Garden.
