Aberdulais Victorian Christmas with Mrs Claus

Aberdulais, Neath 

Come and meet Mr and Mrs Clause on 12 and 19 of December at Aberdulais. Wrap up warm and take a candlelit walk to the waterfall and see this truly special place at night. Enjoy story-telling, make a traditional Victorian decoration to take home or cosy up in the tea-room with a hot drink and mince pie.

Father Christmas returns once again to Chirk Castle’s medieval Christmas. On the first three weekends in December you can meet him, Mother Christmas and his elves in their magical grotto. Father Christmas will also be stopping over for a banquet on 6, 13 and 20 of December where families are invited to enjoy a delicious Christmas dinner, soak up the atmosphere, and chat to Father Christmas (make sure you tell him your Christmas wishes).

Dinefwr, Carmarthenshire  

Come and see Father Christmas at Dinefwr’s Traditional Christmas Fayre on 25 and 26 of November. He'll be in his magical grotto in the basement of Newton House awaiting all the well behaved children. Or join the rangers every Saturday (and Wednesday during school holidays) in December as they feed the deer in the parkland.

Meet Father Christmas and his elves on 9, 10, 16 and 17 of December at Dyffryn Gardens. Make it a festive day to remember and have breakfast with the Elves in the Garden's Café. After your breakfast stick around and wait for Father Christmas’s arrival in the beautifully decorated house. He’ll be there all day waiting for some very special children with plenty of gifts. There’s also plenty to do in-between from the 12 days of Christmas trail to Christmas crafts.

Fire young imaginations and join Father Christmas for breakfast and supper throughout December in the Hayloft Restaurant (book early to avoid disappointment). Or meet Father Christmas in the elves' workshop every weekend from 2 to 24 December where he’ll be waiting for a gift from you. Father Christmas would like you to bring a gift for the Wrexham Food Bank and help the less fortunate this Christmas time.

Father Christmas will be stopping by the Llanerchaeron Christmas fair on 2 and 3 of December and he’ll have a small gift for every child he meets. There will be over 70 local food and craft stalls and the house will be beautifully decorated.

Set your alarms early as Plas Newydd welcomes Father Christmas for breakfast on 2, 3, 16 and 17 of December. Enjoy a magical Christmas breakfast experience in the Old Dairy café with Father Christmas and his elves. Huddle around the fire place and listen to magical Christmas tales- enough to get anyone in the Christmas spirit.

Escape the high-street crowds and join Plas yn Rhiw’s traditional Christmas weekend between 2 and 3 of December. At midday families will break out into traditional song calling out for Father Christmas. As he walks down the hill, follow him into the garden and help him decorate the Wish Tree. There will be an opportunity to meet him in the Kitchen where he’ll be waiting with a gift for all well behaved children.

Add some magic to your festive season and cosy up in Father Christmas’ grotto at Tredegar House as he gets ready to deliver presents to children of Newport, Cardiff and beyond. He’ll be in the stables checking his naughty and nice list, wrapping all his presents and planing the best route around the local area in preparation for the big day.
