Cycle at Wimpole Estate, Cambridgeshire

The south front of Wimpole Hall, Cambridgeshire, seen across the park

With fantastic views, organised and self-led activities and three routes ranging from 1.5 miles to 4.3 miles to choose from, there is something for all ages at our special place.

Carriage drive to Arrington

This route is ideal for the beginner cyclist, 1.5 miles of tarmac terrain for mini explorers. Find the grand Arrington gates and see the stunning South Avenue.

Victoria Drive

This beautiful woodland track is 3.2 miles. Enjoy a gentle route which follows the estate road and a crossing, but is mainly situated on a dirt track through to Cobbs Wood. This route can get muddy but lets you explore some of Wimpole’s wonderful woodland.

Mare Way Challenge

This route covers 4.3 miles and takes you on woodland track, arable fields and bridleways; all the variety and beauty Wimpole has to offer with the speed and fun of a good cycle challenge. You could even ride to Wimpole along the Wimpole Way.
