Enhance your wellbeing at Gibside

Runners making their way along the avenue at Gibside

It's been scientifically proven that getting outdoors and being active can improve both your health and wellbeing. While some opt for an indoor gym, we like to think we've got something pretty special here....

There are lots of ways to get active at Gibside. There are regular walks, runs and classes to help you keep fit, and all of them can help to enhance your wellbeing.

Relax and unwind

Escape into the woodland and recharge with a massage. Oh yes. If you’re planning a visit, you can book a massage with holistic therapist Kate Cullen. The treatment will be tailored to your needs and is sure to rejuvenate your mind, body and soul. Your pooch can even join you and wait while you're pampered.

Fancy joining other cyclists to get here? Well, in partnership with Newcastle County Council, British Cycling and HSBC UK have some scheduled in. Sunday 1 October: Newcastle - Gibside Loop - 24 mile ride. Sunday 22/10/2017 Newcastle - 2 Valleys to Gibside - 19 mile ride.
