From 10 to 29 October enjoy an exhibition in Orchard Gallery called 'Colours and Contrasts' by artist Peter Skilton.

Working from Yorkshire, Peter selects subjects that take his eye from all aspects of the world around us. The paintings often have a narrative, a comment on people, places or events. His studio is in Snitterby and boasts a fine gallery where visitors may see more of his paintings.

Peter's inspiration ranges over a wide area, but is dominated by Andalucia, Yorkshire, Lincolnshire, Norfolk and Northumbria. His choice of media is usually oil or acrylic paint and the interpretation of this subject matter ranges from realistic to semi-abstract forms.

'Colours and Contrasts' can be seen in Orchard Gallery from 10 to 29 October, daily from 11am to 5pm.
