About Elbow CottageA pretty former gamekeeper’s cottage perched next to woodland on the Cotehele estate.
Elbow Cottage was originally built as a gamekeeper’s house and is now an elegant two-bedroom holiday cottage. The stone and slate property sits next to woodlands on the Cotehele estate and is just a short walk from the quay.
After an alfresco breakfast, make your way out onto the Cothele estate and explore one of the many footpaths and circular walks that criss-cross this quiet corner of Cornwall. Your stay at Elbow Cottage directly helps us to preserve the estate and Tudor manor.
Further afield, discover the delights of the Tamar Valley. Pick up the Tamar Valley Line from Plymouth to Gunnislake and cross the impressive Calstock viaduct taking in breath taking views of the surrounding countryside.
