New Year adventures to banish winter blues

Woman and child walking in wintry trees

The Dark Peak landscape makes for the perfect backdrop for New Year adventures and refreshing walks to energise you for the year ahead or to simply find some peace and quiet.

Beat the post Christmas blues with a wintry trip to the Dark Peak and discover new routes on one of our guided walks, challenge yourself to swat up on your navigational skills with an OS map and compass or explore the landscape to find a new spot to spend quality time with your friends and family. Here's some ideas to get you started....

Meet like-minded people -  We run free guided walks every month that take in different areas of the Dark Peak and are an ideal way to banish any winter blues and meet new people. Please check our What's On section for more information and join one of our walks to discover more about this precious landscape and how our teams look after it all year round.
