Yorkshire Day at Nunnington Hall

Leeds Morris Men

Join us at Nunnington Hall for a celebration of all things Yorkshire!

Yorkshire Day

Sunday 1 August

Join us at Nunnington Hall for a day celebrating all things Yorkshire. The sun will be shining (because of course, in God’s own county, the sun always shines on Yorkshire Day…)

At 12 noon and 2.30pm Leeds Morris Men will be performing on the main lawn, giving the English tradition a bit of a Yorkshire flair.

John Greaves, a Yorkshire singer and farmer will be performing some Yorkshire dialect singing in front on the hall throughout the day, and York based actor Graham Smith will be performing monologues.

The Nunnington garden team will be doing rose tours at 11am and 1.50pm.

The deckchairs and garden games are out, so come, relax and be entertained!

The tea-garden will be open 10.30am-4pm for drinks, light bites and ice creams.
