We know how much joy our Easter egg trails bring to our visitors each year and we hope this year will be the same.  However, we ask that you support your local property and tickets must be booked in advance.

Easter adventures in nature

Friday 2 April to Bank Holiday Monday 3 May (while stocks last), 10.30am-5pm (last entry at 4pm)

Get ready, get set, spring! This year, our Easter 2021 trail takes you on an Adventure in nature, a series of 10 activities suitable for all ages, located along our easily accessible route through the garden at Plas Newydd.

You can pick up your trail pack (£3 each) at the Visitor Welcome Centre.  Inside each colourful trail pack, you’ll receive your Easter adventures in nature map and pencil.  Follow the trail and the wooden number markers that guide you around the garden and complete each activity as you go. Don’t worry, there are no wrong or right answers, but there’ll be lots for you to see, smell and do along the way!  Do you know how to leap like a lamb, or can you be like an egg, all small and cosy and ready to hatch? Will you be a super sniffer, smelling all that spring has to offer or maybe you’ll get to know a tree a little better?

Once you’ve completed the trail, you can collect your chocolate egg or allergen free reward from the collection point.  If you have some energy left, why not go that Eggstra mile? Walk, skip or hop along the route, past the Italianate Terraced Garden.   Anyone who completes the trail can collect a certificate to say that you’ve gone that ‘Eggstra’ mile with us during your visit.  Remember to share your photos with us on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter too using #NTeggstramile @NTPlasNewydd

Before visiting us this Easter, please do check local and national government guidance on travelling and keep a safe 2m distance from other visitors, staff and volunteers during your visit.

Book your visit

You don't need to book your Easter trails, but you will need to book your Easter visit to Plas Newydd.  To manage visitor numbers and so that social distancing can be ensured for the safety of our staff, volunteers and visitors, the pre-booking system still applies.  Booking will provide access to the property, not the Easter adventures in nature trail, which can be purchased on the day.

Tickets are released every Friday.  Book your visit here https://www.nationaltrust.org.uk/plas-newydd-house-and-garden/whats-on
