The Old Dairy at Plas Newydd

Freshly baked scones in the cafe at Plas Newydd House and Garden

Our Old Dairy cafe is the perfect place to enjoy a cup of tea or a mug of coffee whether it's before or after your garden walk. With lighter lunch options and a wide selection of cakes and drinks; you can even bring your four-legged friend along too.

The Old Dairy Cafe can be found just as you enter Plas Newydd, next to our Visitor Centre and main carpark.   Serving a wide selection of sandwiches, snacks, cakes and drinks, it's a great place to either fuel up before a walk, or wind down afterwards!

Of course, no National Trust cafe would be complete without a selection of cakes and scones, and Jimmy our baker here at Plas Newydd is always trying new recipes to delight our visitors.

Take some time to enjoy your cuppa inside the Old Dairy or sit back and relax in the Anglesey sunshine (fingers crossed!)  at one of our courtyard tables.

Dogs are now welcome on short leads in the Old Dairy Cafe - another great excuse to treat yourself after a bracing walk around the gardens.
