When it comes to food Plas Newydd has the privilege of offering you two different styles to tempt your taste buds.

The Old Dairy Restaraunt

Our refurbished Old Dairy serves hot and cold main courses with a wide selection of sandwiches, cakes and drinks, freshly cooked using local ingredients where possible.

Dine al fresco in the Anglesey sunshine* at our revamped courtyard tables or take a coffee to go while you watch the little explorers play in the Dairy Wood playground.

From in-house baked scones and bara brith, to Welsh pork and hearty winter warmers we have a little bit of something for everyone.

You will find the tea-room next to the visitor welcome centre on arrival.

Mansion Tea-room

At the coffee shop we have just the treat waiting for you after exploring the house and gardens.
The coffee shop is the perfect pit stop, serving our special National Trust blend Barista coffee, speciality teas and, of course, a wide selection of cakes and patisserie.
You can make the most of the warm weather in the terraced Menai Courtyard, the ideal place to enjoy a cream tea or a well deserved cold Welsh cider.

Ice Creams in the sun

On a sunny afternoon, there's no better place to be than sitting outside Plas Newydd, Ice Cream in hand.

Our Sunroom serves a wide variety of locally produced Môn ar Lwy ice cream, including our exclusive Ginger Nut flavour - in honour of the late Marquess' favourite biscuit!
