Overdone the turkey and the Christmas pud? Why not try walking off the festive excess with a stroll around our ever-interesting gardens.

A well-travelled garden

Beautifully coloured and peeling Eucalyptus trunks can be seen in the Australasian arboretum.

You can travel around the globe and visit far flung continents as you walk around Plas Newydd, without ever leaving the banks of the Menai Strait.

You can spot signs of our well-travelled garden all over the grounds but especially in the Australasian Arboretum, Italianate Terrace and the West Indies

Ask at the Visitor Centre for a map and more information about these areas.

The whole family can enjoy the family fun walk that takes in the treehouse and the adventure playground.

Or explore the hidden corners of the gardens, including Church Bank wood - a quiet and peaceful spot that's home to our red squirrels.
