Eating at Shugborough
Whether you’re here for a morning, afternoon or all day – we’ve got the perfect places for you to sit back and relax with a cup of coffee and a slice of cake, a pot of tea and a freshly baked scone, or something more substantial for lunch.
You’re spoilt for choice between Park Farm Café and the Mansion Tea-room at Shugborough. Both our café and tea-room serve hot and cold drinks, freshly baked cakes and biscuits, and light lunches (main meals served in the Mansion Tea-room). Every cup of tea you enjoy at Shugborough helps us to look after the parkland, gardens and buildings now and into the future. We couldn’t care for this special place without your help – thank you.
Step inside the newly refurbished Mansion Tea-room, located close to the National Trust shop and Mansion this is the perfect place for a leisurely lunch amongst the travel inspired surroundings.
On the menu you’ll find seasonally inspired dishes throughout the year; hearty and warming in the colder months and light and summery in the warmer months.
Breakfast is served from 10am to 11:30am and main meals from 12 until 2:30pm daily.
Park Farm Café
We’ve also recently refurbished our Park Farm Café. You’ll find it right in the heart of the original early 19th century farmyard and outbuildings. It’s a great place to stop and recharge your batteries over a cup of tea and piece of cake or a light lunch, like a pasty or one of our sausage rolls.
Our savoury snacks, hot and cold drinks are all available to take away with you if you’d prefer – whether you’re planning a picnic or just want to ‘grab and get going’ on one of our parkland walks.
We know a quick stop off for a snack, or a space to sit down for lunch is an all important part of a visit. You’ll find highchairs, childrens’ plates, bibs and cutlery in both our café and tea-room. Childrens’ pick and mix lunchboxes are available from both the café and tea-room also.
