Forever, for everyone

If you're concerned about your groups accessibility needs, we hope you'll feel confident in coming to Stowe. Everyone should have the opportunity to see this breathtaking garden and we'll be pleased to help in any way we can. Our visitor centre - the New Inn - is fully accessible with a lift in our welcome area.

The more energetic visiitors can walk down Bell Gate Drive to the garden's entrance, whilst less able visitors can catch a lift to the garden entrance on a mobility buggy driven by our volunteer. It is also possible to hire mobility buggies for a suggested donation of £10 for up to two hours. There are uneven and varying terrains at Stowe - we can recommend certain routes for ease and we always suggest wearing good walking shoes.
