It wouldn't be Christmas at Attingham without visiting Father Christmas

An elf photogprahs Father Christmas and visitors to his study at Attingham Park

Step through the magic wardrobe and join Father Christmas and his elves at Attingham Park. We'll be hosting this very special visitor on selected days in December, when children will be able to come and meet Father Christmas in his study in the Mansion and receive a memento of their visit.

*All weekend visits for Father Christmas are now sold out for 2018 - there is still availability on weekday afternoons between 1 and 23 December.*

Father Christmas' schedule is mince pie packed this December but he's made sure he's spending some time at Attingham agin this year. Father Christmas will be at Attingham from Saturday 1 to Saturday 23 December at selected times.

To help him out at this busy time each visit is by pre-booked timed ticket to meet him and his elves. This year all children visiting Father Christmas will receive a traditional teddy bear memento of their visit (similar to the 2017 teddy bear gift).

Book your Father Christmas Visit

Visits to Father Christmas cost £8.50 per child and up to 5 children can visit Father Christmas together, at the same time. To book your ticket please click here or call the Central Booking Line on 03442 491895.

Standard admission charges to Attingham (payable on the day) will also apply for non-members of the National Trust purchasing tickets for Father Christmas Visits.

Visiting the Mansion as well - before or after your Father Christmas visit?

This year visits to the Mansion are by pre-booked timed entry ticket. Please do not book a separate Mansion ticket if you've booked to see Father Christmas as your Father Christmas booking will reserve you a timed place to visit the Mansion. You can choose your time period to visit the Mansion on the day of your visit.

Please read the information on the event listing for Father Christmas as this will detail how many tickets are included with your booking, and if this is sufficient please do not book additional tickets to visit the Mansion. Additional tickets to visit the Mansion will need to be booked by any additional people in your party over that amount. Non-members of the National Trust will need to pay the non-member admission price on arrival on the day of your visit.

Information on 'A 1940s Christmas in the Mansion' can be found here.

Memento of your visit

Please note: This year all children visiting Father Christmas will receive a 20cm traditional teddy bear memento of their visit, similar to the 2017 bear, please consider whether this is suitable for your child before booking (children will not receive a wrapped gift).
