Christmas at Clumber Park

The Chapel and visitor facilities at Christmas

Christmas may feel a little different this year, but there is still plenty to see and do at Clumber Park.

Visiting Clumber Park

We're pleased to welcome visitors to Clumber Park over the festive break, for family walks, time spent in nature and fresh air.

As one of our busiest periods, we advise booking your visit in advance, to avoid disappointment. You can book your trip to Clumber Park here.

We often have availability in the afternoon, for non-booked visitors, however this isn't guaranteed.

What's open?

With 3,800 acres to explore, why not take a different path on your next visit? Plan your walk with one of our routes, or come ready for a day of exploring and discover different parts of Clumber Park. Our Cycle Hub currently remains closed.

We have refreshment kiosks throughout the park, serving hot and cold drinks, snacks and bakes, as well as seasonal specials. Our bookshop cafe, under the clock tower, in the Turning Yard, will be serving warm desserts with ice cream, such as brownies, mince pies and ginger cake.

You'll find toilet facilities in our Turning Yard, the Walled Kitchen Garden, the Discovery Centre and at Hardwick village, next to Lake Brew.

A Peter Rabbit™ Winter Adventure

Our playground currently remains closed, however we invite smaller visitors to take part in our Peter Rabbit™ winter adventure activity trail through Clumber Park.

Peter Rabbit’s friends need some help finding items to see them through the colder winter months. Young adventurers can lend a hand to some of Beatrix Potter’s well-loved characters such as Squirrel Nutkin, Mr Jeremy Fisher and Jemima Puddleduck, and solve the clues to earn their special trail badge and certificate.

There will be nature-themed active challenges to try along the way, as well as a Peter Rabbit selfie station at the end of the trail, where everyone can take a picture with their favourite storybook rabbit. Activity packs cost £2.

To prepare for your adventure, get stuck into these Peter Rabbit activity packs - we'll be adding more throughout the season.
